Comedy concerning an avocado shortage, a feminist anthropology professor and a chauvinistic tour guide who embark on a journey to find a tribe of man-eating Piranah Women who enslave males in the the avocado jungle of Southern California.

California filming locations included the Hollyhock House, Barnsdale Art Park, Los Angeles and the University of California Botanic Gardens in Riverside.

Actor Brett Stimely (Jean-Pierre) previously starred in the adventure film Bloodstone (1988).
