Star Raquel Welch had previously starred in Hammer's "One Million Years B.C.", which also found her cast opposite loinclothed males.
Though cast as a Sioux Indian, actor Nick Mancuso was born in Mammola, Calabria, Italy. He was raised in the Italian section of Toronto, Canada.
In the role of Horses Ghost, Mancuso wears a loincloth in a traditional manner, however, some others in the film wear what appears to be spandex briefs with their loincloths and leggings.
This made-for-television feature was filmed on location in Montana.
