Working titles: Zombies, Zombie Bloodbath and Voodoo Blood Bath.

While researching a new book, a novelist travels to an island in the Caribbean where he unexpectedly encounters a voodoo cult turning the natives into zombies.

Written, produced and directed by Del Tenney (The Horror of Party Beach), the film stars William Joyce, Heather Hewitt and Walter Coy.

Cast as Robey, actor/dancer Vanoye Aikens was previously seen in the peplum films The Revolt of the Slaves (1960) and Goliath and the Vampires (1961).

Filmed entirely in Florida in 1964 under the title "Caribbean Adventure" to hide from potential investors that it was a zombie horror film.

Released to theaters and drive-ins as the bottom of a double bill with I Drink Your Blood (1971).

Florida locations include Coral Gables, Key Biscayne and Miami Beach.

Vanoye Aikens passed in 2013 at the age of 90.
