Set during the Gallic Wars, this French/Italian co-production and gladiator epic revolves around a plan by Julius Caesar (Alessandro Sperlė) to Conquer Vercingetorix and Gaul.

Directed by Anthony Dawson (Yor, the Hunter from the Future, Jungle Raiders) and starring Richard Harrison (The Invincible Gladiator, Medusa Against the Son of Hercules)

The cast includes Ralph Hudson, whose only other film role is that of the lead in 1964's Tarzak contro gli uomini leopardo (Tarzak against the leopard men), also known as Ape Man of the Jungle.

Also appearing is Italian actor Ettore Manni whose other screen credits include The Revolt of the Slaves (1960), Hercules and the Captive Women (1961) and Hercules, Prisoner of Evil (1964).
