Hercules/Maciste (Kirk Morris) materializes from rock inside a sacred temple after being summoned by a high priest to help a tribe of nomands.

Actress Hélène Chanel (as Farida) previously appeared with Kirk Morris in The Witch's Curse (1962), and would do so again in The Conqueror of Atlantis (1965).

Other screen credits for actor Alberto Farnese (as Masura) include The Giants of Thessaly (1960), Queen of the Nile (1961), and Gladiator of Rome (1962).

Previous films directed by Tanio Boccia (also starring Kirk Morris) include Triumph of the Son of Hercules (1961), Samson and the Sea Beast (1963), and Samson vs. the Giant King (1964).

Kirk Morris and Tanio Boccia also teamed for Desert Raiders and Terror of the Steppes, both films also released to theaters in 1964.
