Also cast is actor Blake Boyd who previously appeared in the 1989 TV-movie Gunsmoke: The Last Apache which featured Joe Lara (Tarzan in Manhattan, Tarzan: The Epic Adventures).

Richard Norton would later make an appearance (cast as Hilarus) on the television series Spartacus: Blood and Sand in the 2013 episode titled Enemies of Rome.

Cast as a 'Tribe Elder', actor Ramon D'Salva had also previously appeared in director Cirio H. Santiago's 1987 film Demon of Paradise.

Richard Norton passed in 2025 at the age of 75.
