Spanish title: Tarzán y el arco iris (Tarzan and the Rainbow).

Swedish title: Tarzan och den hemliga grottan (Tarzan and the Secret Cave).

Spanish/Italian co-production stars Croatian-born American actor Steve Hawkes (real name Stjepan Sipek) and Danish actress Kitty Swan.

Previous jungle screen roles for Kitty Swan include starring in both Gungala, the Virgin of the Jungle (1967) and Gungala, the Black Panther Girl (1968).

Sequel to 1969's Tarzan in the Golden Grotto (aka: Zan, King of the Jungle), which also starred both Steve Hawkes and Kitty Swan.

The production filmed some scenes for the film on location at Rainbow Springs, Dunnellon, Florida.

After retiring from acting Steve Hawkes relocated to Loxahatchee, Florida where he started an animal sanctuary.

Steve Hawkes passed in 2019 at the age of 77.
