Cast as Vulcan is Iranian bodybuilder and actor Iloosh Khoshabe (aka: Rod Flash), who later appeared (credited as Richard Lloyd) in the films Hercules, Samson and Ulysses (1963) and The Invincible Brothers Maciste (1964).

American actor Roger Browne appears as Mars, a role he would play again in the film Mars, God of War (aka: Venus Against the Son of Hercules) which was released later the same year.

The film's cast includes Furio Meniconi (Goliath and the Barbarians) as Jupiter and Gordon Mitchell (Atlas in the Land of the Cyclops) as Pluto.

The production filmed exteriors on location in Iran.

Iloosh Khoshabe passed in 2012 (aged 79-80).
