Post-apocalypse adventure stars Kevin Costner (Dragonfly) as The Mariner, a mutant drifer who sails an Earth which is mostly covered with water.

The thief who steals the Mariner's limes at the beginning of the film is portrayed by Israeli actor Chaim Jeraffi, whose other film credits include Superman (2025).

Directed by Kevin Reynolds, who previously helmed 1994's Rapa Nui, co-produced by Kevin Costner and starring Jason Scott Lee and Esai Morales.

The film has been released by Arrow Video on Blu-ray in both it's theatrical cut (135 mins) and the extended "Ulysses" cut (178 mins).

Hawaii filming locations include Kona, Kawaihae Harbor and Waipi'o Valley.
